Synopsis:

Agape Koinonia Alliance, Inc. is a certified 501 (c) (3) that was established in 2014. Our mission is to serve and empower young people in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, as well as the city of Pomona.

Each year, we provide essential resources less fortunate kids of all ages from elementary through high school.  The resources include backpacks and school supplies for their educational journey, Christmas toys to bring joy during the holiday season, and awards recognizing students who excel academically and serve as role models both at school and in their communities.

In addition to our work with younger students, we offer scholarships and financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate college students.  Their support is designed to help them overcome financial barriers and achieve their academic goals.

Our efforts positively influence the lives of approximately six hundred children and students each year.  We provide gifts for Christmas, school supplies and backpacks prior to the start of the school year. Furthermore, we subsidize programs that prepare meals that allow less fortunate children to receive Christmas dinners and toys.

Also, as means of encouragement, we provide a number of students who do well academically and are good citizens on campus and in the community with awards. We realize the value of letting these kids and youth know we believe in them.  We have letters on file from apartment managers where we serve kids and youth, K through high school, acknowledging our efforts.

At our community fundraisers, we provide a venue for selected students and kids to showcase their talents and gifts before an audience as means of encouragement, confidence, and experience.

Parents of the kids and community members welcome and laud our efforts. We have received reports of amazing life changing occurrences linked to outreaches.  Many of the college awardees are now college and university teachers and counselors; business owners; Ministry Leaders; and others are gainfully employed in the community.  Many high school awardees are in college and doing well. Others continue to excel academically and engage in positive events.  Several are serving in the military.  Some have completed and been commissioned via YWAM. We have certificates on file from local judges, congressmen, county supervisors and corporate sponsors acknowledging our endeavors to help enrich the lives of these wonderful beings.

2025 Events
On July 19, 2025, we held a community outreach awards and fundraiser event at Temecula Music Teacher School, where two music students performed; scholarships and awards were provided to high school graduates; awards given to youth and kids for their academic success and good conduct, a panel of college students provided information regarding their college experiences to high school graduates who would be entering college. In July and August, we provided 264 backpacks/school supplies to kids and youths. We provided financial support for two youths to attend summer camp as well as support for foster kids to attend camp.

In December, we were invited to join the Temecula California Highway Patrol (CHP) in a caravan event. This initiative included CHP officers, volunteers, and students who are currently enrolled in a high school academy and preparing to pursue careers as CHP officers. Our involvement facilitated collaboration and engagement with future law enforcement professionals.

As part of our outreach, we provided toys to children in several communities, including Temecula, Murrieta, Hemet, Riverside, and the City of Pomona. This effort aimed to bring holiday cheer to even more families across these regions.

Our board members coordinated a Christmas outreach event in Riverside, where they were joined by students and department staff from the University of California, Riverside (UCR), as well as members of Second Birth Church. The collaboration helped support local kids during the holiday season. (See Facebook Picture).
